Until registries are in place the Breeding Communities forum will be for players to work together towards creating or improving their favourite breeds.
Forum rules
Each breed may have only one topic. The first post in the topic is to be informative. It should help explain the breed, and breeding goals; advice on how to select mares and stallions; and links to ideal Stallions available for breeding.
Keeping a directory of breeders working on the same goal is also helpful.
All new threads must be approved.

Vladimir Heavy Draft

Post by Neon »

I really love the breed Vladimir Heavy Draft. To get it though, I need to create the Suffolk Punch.
[Percheron X Shire] X [Cleveland Bay X Suffolk Punch] = Vladimir Heavy Draft

Yay! I'm closer to getting to the Vladimir Heavy Draft now that I have bred the very first Suffolk Punches on the game!
The first two are full siblings so I cannot breed them together. The the last one is a half sister to them.
First Suffolk Ever

Second Suffock Ever

A lovely chestnut

A Dun?

And a Buckskin

I have bred the first Suffolk Punch! Now all the breeds needed to make the Vladimir Heavy Draft are available to me, I have begun getting some Shire X Percherons ready as-well. I'm so excited for this!
(Also if anyone has a nice Cleveland Bay mare, that is between 15 & 17hh, to sell please let me know, I'd love to buy it.)

Haha, man. I'm going about this the hard way! Didn't really want to but I couldn't find what I needed for sale so I'm making half of it from scratch lol

So I have an akhal teke that I bred to a Galloway to make the first half of the throughbred and as soon as a get a mare from that cross I'll find an Arab x NAB to get a throughbred. Which I'll cross with a Welsh cob. And I have a Beligan bred to a Norfolk trotter. I'll breed that foal with the throughbred x Welsh cob to get a punch. Then I'll breed the punch to a Cleveland bay and I'll breed my soon to be shire with a percheron, then breed the resulting and get the first ever Vladimir heavy draft, if it all goes as planned
