tiger eye?
what exactly is the tiger eye on a horse? and is it a certain colour? or just a type or something?

Have you seen horses with distinct greenish eyes? That's tiger eye.
It only affects the color of eyes, and is recessive (you need two copies for it to show), unless on champagne (then it shows also with just one copy (unless the horse is also double cream/pearl, then it dosn't show)).
The exact hue differs on horses depending on their base color.
