Not allowed to private message or chat

I am not allowed to chat or to use private messages, in spite of being a premium member who has purchased all player upgrades. Why? Or the better question is, how do I change that?

You can use chat but only premium members can use private messages.

If you open the drop down menu for community, the chat room is second from the bottom.

That is only because you're a new account. Check out the newbie quick start guide in my signature, it covers that and a number of other interesting tidbits that will aid you in your first few days.

To elaborate, you cannot access chat yet. We had a case of trolling on the game a while ago. To prevent further re-occurrences of this, our admin locked chat until a new account has posted at least five times in the forums. Your forum posts must be approved for the first five times. So our admins can hand-check and ensure that the accounts and new players intend to be here for gameplay and aren't just dropping by to cause issues and troll.
