Am I the only one who'd like more filter options on stallions at stud?

Post by Jewels Training »

It sure would be nice to filter build, body size and type like we can height. Also, it would be nice to filter for stats, like high strength for example, instead of having to slog through 91 pages of stallions just to find one's with the stat your trying to improve. Any thoughts?

You're not the only one that wants more filters. But if I recall, we are a little limited to how many filters we can add?
If every filter that every one of us wanted was actually added, we'd have likely close to 30 different choices.

I was considering updating our help guide section (I recall a topic somewhere about how to for posting sales or stud ads), to include one that might help scrolling through the many pages of stud and sales ads. However, again, we're limited to how much we put in the ad and each person could be looking for something different.
But it would be nice if we had some additional search perimeters added.
An example format for posting a sales or stud ad could also help, but what information should be relevant? I find the breeder's report comments to be less helpful than I would hope when cruising the ads. The amount of golds, greens and reds though, is helpful. HGP and COI I find useful. Body type and size score also. (height isn't important, we can already see that) Also being foundation or blooded (AC stock or not), or being the first of the breed (in my book, also considered foundation). How many children they have (although this isn't really that important). And trained or not. Those are the most important for me and would make my scrolling easier. But what's important for my search, may be a hindrance to others.

However, if we can figure out an example format that would work for 'all' of us, then we can certainly add a help guide topic with the informational format for it. Then for those that post a lot of horses for sale or stud, a simple copy and paste then fill out the necessary information may certainly make things a lot easier and quicker for 'all' of us.

Of course things could change in the future, this could very well end up being a stopgap. Which would be fine in my mind.
