I have some gorgeous dark Dun/Grullo that I'm pretty partial to on my main account, but my absolute favorite expression of the gene so far is on this guy, so I had to show him off instead:

His shoulder/neck stripes look like warpaint to me, and I think he's metallic? He's working on that training sheen as well, but he's still a very young guy. He's from a Przewalski/Akhal-Teke mix breeding side-project of mine, and he's my favorite result from it so far.

Also, did you mean by your instructions that we could enter a second horse if we had a side account? I'd love to pick out one of my favorite dark duns from my other collection to throw in as well, if that's the case.

Now that's a primal warrior xD he's definitly in the top now and yes, you can submit a second one if it is another account, just a mention of your two accounts would be nice on behalf of equal treatment

So, in commemoration of a couple of uniquely colored Duns I recently noticed, I though I'd open a small competition for showing your most distinctive or unique Duns.

1st to 5th place (when enough people are interested/entered) will be getting some money and a breeding to any of my Stallions for free - while I don't have horses with particularly high HGP, I have some with really low COI and that may be something some breeders may appreciate.


The rules:
horses should possess

- Dun markings
- no Lp (cause varnish, bronzening tends to cover the markings)
- training sheens give extra points (notice the 'warrior' part? )

- only one horse may be entered and it has to be owned or bred by you (entries with side accounts are ok, but I'd like a mention if you enter more than twice)
(I forgot to mention; warriors ain't just male, so any female warriors are naturally welcome as well ^^)

Prizes:

1st - 10.000 $
2nd - 7.500 $
3rd - 5.000 $
4th - 2.500$
5th - 1.000$

(when you've won put up an unbred/foalless horse you don't need and link the stallion you want a breeding of)

Only one horse for each account, but if you want to cancel her admission and put up the other instead that is ok ^^
