Losing Weight Each Day

I have two horses, one mature horse I recently bought and one yearling and since the yearling was born and the horse was bought, they are loosing weight. I have barely trained them, but every time I start my next day, it says "this horse did not eat enough to maintain weight" but I never worked them. Is this just a bug? Is there a way to make it better? Let me know any advice you guys have!

I think once the feeding is implemented you will be able to do something, but not much you can do at the moment
