Aegidienbergers
Aegidienbergers originate from Germany, and to save you from the longer story, a (rich) man decided to breed Icelandics to Peruvian Pasos. He originally wanted to breed Icelandics to Friesians, but there were some difficulties. The results were quite good, and I really endorse the breed, so I've decided to breed them here!Type: Tall pony/short horse
Origin: Germany
Blood: Warmblood
Gaits: Walk, trot, canter and tölt
Temper: Harsh as Icelandics, friendly and attentive
Colour: All colours
Height: 13hh – 14hh
The breed was acknowledged in 1994
Important traits:
- The horse must be insignificantly larger than the Icelandic
- Well-built
- Elegant
- Good mane and tail
- Tölt must be pure and with great movement
- Flying pace like movement in the Paso’s fast tölt is unwanted
- Controllable temper
- Speed
- Stability
- Will
- Stamina
- Sturdiness
How to create the breed:
Peruvian Paso:
[NAB x Forest] x [NAB x Arabian] = WAB
[Tarpan x Mongolian] x [Tarpan x WAB] = Sorraia
WAB x Sorraia = Carthusian
[Sorraia x Carthusian] x [Sorraia x WAB] = Andalusian
Andalusian x NAB = Peruvian Paso
Icelandic:
[Przewalski x Tarpan] x Tarpan = Mongolian
[Przewalski x Mongolian] x Mongolian = Norwegian Fjord
Norwegian Fjord x Tarpan = Icelandic
Aegidienberger:
Icelandic x Peruvian Paso

I've just begun training the first ones, but their best stats are intelligence, stamina, tempo and speed. Agility, movement and balance are ok, but they lack a bit in strength
