It does appear both of these horses carry one tiger eye gene each. The difference between tiger eye and double cream, is that tiger eye produces a green-tinted shading while double cream produces blue.
Double tiger eye will produce striking green eyes, not the hazel-tintings that a single tiger eye offers when paired with champagne.
