Horse: Blazing Harp
http://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/1620361
Why I love my horse: Her siblings had red stats everywhere, she didn't get any red stats. Her siblings never got that marking without having the longest neck on planet HWO.
Story: ( This is all fiction and I will get some stuff wrong )
Light filtered through the small cracks, the mare had gotten up from the pain. She neighed to the rest of the occupants of the barn, her foal's sire put his head over the stall, looking at his foal. The two rubbed heads, the sire's name is Toxic by the Stardust and the dam's name is Royal Topaz. Royal smiled, her foal was going to have a pleasant life like her. She has heard from other mares in the barn that their colts have been taken to be trained day and night while she was pregnant. She wouldn't sleep at night knowing her foal was going through that, but now she can relax. She laid back down next to her newborn foal, her foal was struggling to stand up. Then she noticed the leg marking, the leg marking that has never been seen before. The humans then entered the barn after hearing of the foal being born, the mare pined her ears and tried to bite the humans closest to her. They talked in their sharp syllables looking at her foal, especially the marking. Royal's mate held her back as the humans took her filly, the mare in the stall next to her said they might be giving her private treatment. Royal only hopped so, she would bare another child who could have the same fate.
The filly was not treated to royalty, she was worked day in day out. She slept as soon as she was allowed to. She never got to see her mother after she was weaned, she would see her mother sometimes. Soon the training got easier and she was allowed to graze in the pastures with another horse. She was quite lean as she jumped over the 3 foot high jumps, she felt free like a bird as she jumped. Her mane never grew longer than 2 inches which was perfect for shows, later, she was given more food because she was starting to have worms. She saw another colt with the same markings, he was being led out. He stumbled several times while being walked, they led her into a trailer and it drove off. she then jumped over a 6 foot jump and she tripped on the last pole. Blazing Harp fell onto that hip and was taken into the trailer. The faster it went, the more of the pain went away. She woke back up with brown feathered wings that were 4 feet in length. She flapped to all her content in her make believe world as she is frozen on another account to prevent the injury.

Sunburst New Revolution
This is one of the unusual ones I've bred and raised. Slowly training her myself, like I did with both parents. The sire and dam are both between 14 and 15 hands, but this filly is only 12.3 at over 3 years old! She's a compact little mare with a good confo and great gp. I bred high gp Dutch drafts for a while and have a few remaining. She was one of the last foals born and definitely the runt. There's nothing wrong with her short stature though. I had the 2nd smallest commercial beef heifer at my county fair last fall. She was reserve breed champion. Enough about small things. I'm getting off topic. On with the story! It will mostly be fiction, but sort of based off a half pony foal I had born this spring.
It was a cool morning in my rural community. A thin layer of frost had settled over the ground. The weather had been fine the previous few days, but the temperature had suddenly dropped overnight. At least the forecast said it would rise again tomorrow. As I checked my farm for foals (I had a lot of pregnant mares) I noticed Sunburst Revolutiono was standing off in a corner of her pasture. The young horses sharing her pen were all up at the front. That seemed odd. Revolutiono was a pretty social mare and didn't like being alone. I decided it would be best if I went out to check on her.
The icy grass was trampled down a bit in the area around her. Steam was rising from a few wet places on the ground. The small draft mare glanced up at me. She gave me a curious look before her attention shifted back to something behind her. Stepping around her, I found a mousey brownish/grayish foal. I sighed.
"You had to pick today, didn't you? There were plenty of nice days this week, and you chose the one cold day." I grumbled. Revolutiono just nickered at the foal. I muttered something unflattering as I grabbed her halter and lead her and her to the closest barn, the newborn following close behind. The foal's sire, Sarcasm, whinnied from his stall as we entered. I lead the mare to a stall at the end of the row so she could have some peace with her baby. I had been thinking of moving the mare to my other farm, so I decided to call the newborn Sunburst New Revolution.
Several years passed. New Revolution got to spend over a year with Her dam before her mother was moved and her sire was sold, leaving Revolution with only her friends that trained alongside her. She darkened to pure black when she shed her baby coat. I expected her to get to 14 hands by 3, but she has only grown to 12.3. Despite her small size, Revolution still has good breeding and a chance at competing well. She is training well and may soon be ready to compete. She's one of the favorites and eats pretty well too. For now, and hopefully a long time after, Revolution will have a pleasant life.

Cormac
I like Cormac because he's my finest purebred Arabian that I currently own. He's a nice bay color, 5* for the Arabian evaluation book, has beautiful long mane + tail, and isn't too tall for an Arabian.
He's at my main account, PeacefulOreo (Wild Horse Ridge).
(I'm making this up from my dreams and it is probably a lame story and it's probably not exactly what you're looking for when you said a story. Some names are made up for my future kids if I ever do get any and some names are changed due to not giving personal information): Born from one of the world's two finest purebred Arabians ever, Dutchess and Duke, Cormac was shown by Sierra. Sierra was born from the famous world actor, Jacob, and famous actress, Melody. Sierra led Cormac up to the judges. Cormac snorted, prancing in place. The judges all looked at Cormac, looking at how his small finely dished head was held high and his long silky tail swished. Sierra then had Cormac trot around in the show arena. Then she led him back.
"We have decided to award the first overall prize to Cormac," one judge said. As the judge handed Sierra a ribbon, news reporters took photos of them along with the prize winning stallion, Cormac. As years went on, Cormac was bred to only the finest purebred Arabian mares.

Here is my entry:
Tija C
She is one of the very early horses I bred when I first joined HWO, but remains one of my favourites. I love her colour (always loved dark chestnuts, and flaxen doesn't hurt either), I love the surprise she was (both her colour and her breed - you don't expect a flaxen chestnut from a palomino and black silver, do you? and these were early days for me, I didn't have the Teke book, so I was surprised to get a Teke instead of a crossbred). But most of all, I like the story about how she came to be. The story below is a "decorated" version of how it really happened.
(Oh, and this is an entry from my first account, but I am mostly playing on the other these days, so I can't really tell which is main and which is side

(Sorry, this is going to be long.)
The story:
It was twelve days before Christmas, and I was idly browsing the horse market. I came here to bring over my own horse to a buyer, I was not looking to really buy anything, but still found myself browsing. My trailer was empty, my barn back at home had empty stalls, so I could possibly buy a horse - an Arabian mare, most likely, as I was just starting to breed them seriously and needed a suitable mate for my prized stallion, Doodle. The market was busy, lots of horses, big and small, some nicely trained and shiny, others woolly in their winter coats. There was an Arabian breeder who offered some purebred fillies, but none of them really caught my eye. There was a paddock of several big draft horses gathered by the fence, and I had already walked by them, when a soft nickering stopped me and made me turn around. There was someone behind the big drafters, and that someone was clearly trying to catch my attention.
I came closer. It was a smallish mare, well, smallish on the background of the drafters, she wasn't really small per se; she looked even smaller in her unkempt muddy grey coat that barely hid her well defined skeleton. There were remains of hay at her feet, so she wasn't starving at the moment, but had been for a while, or so it seemed. "What's that?" I asked the owner, nodding in the general direction of the mare. "A rescue. I picked her up on my way here, she has the papers and all, she's half Turkmene, but she doesn't really fit in here," he gestured at his drafters. "So if you want her, she's all yours." I looked at the mare again. I wanted an Arabian. I wasn't looking to rescue anyone. I looked away, but the mare nickered again. "Okay," I sighed. "How much?"
The sum I paid barely covered the price of the halter she came with. I filled in the paperwork, took the mare back to my trailer and brought her home. Jilly was her name in the papers, and I never changed that. When we washed away all the mud and dirt covering her, her coat turned out to be a beautiful silver, covered in dapples, even though it lacked the typical sheen so inherent to Turkmenes. Jilly was eating well and recovering quickly, and by spring she was a beautiful, gentle mare who followed me whenever she had a chance. My stallion Doodle had also taken to her and spent his days trying to catch her attention from his own paddock by the stallion barn. Until one day he didn't. He just jumped over the fence.
Oh well. As I didn't really have any plans for Jilly, she might as well have the foal. Might turn out a good competition half Arabian.
One early morning next spring when I entered the barn, I was startled by one of my farm hands looking into Jilly's stall and exclaiming - would you just look at THAT! I rushed over there to see what she was about. Jilly had foaled that night, there was a tiny foal laying next to her. But what made me exclaim as well was the intense, bright chestnut coat of the baby, topped off with gleaming white mane and tail, tiny as it was. Even bigger was my surprise when the foal was evaluated to be a 5* Akhal-Teke.
Few years later Jilly found a new home at a big Akhal-Teke breeding facility as a broodmare and brought several more beautiful foals in this world. Tija, her firstborn filly, remains here at Cave ranch. I still don't really have plans for her, but she is a beautiful reminder of the small miracle that happened at the market years ago.
(I really did buy Jilly when I was browsing the market here for Arabian mare, because she was dirt cheap and in poor condition; I really bred her to Doodle by accident, when my computer screen froze for a moment and I clicked in a wrong place - I was supposed to breed another mare to Doodle. So Tija is indeed a beautiful accident
