The reason I asked about the messaging, is because that is peoples main gripe about the forums (and it is part of the forums). You never explained what your issues were with the forums (just it was out of date).
The game isn't a 24/7 job for the Admins/Developers, and it shouldn't be. I am defending them and the game, saying that there is only two people working on the game, therefore people need to be patient. I do agree with there is no online game without the community, but to expect that the developers should drop everything else they need to do, to work on this game is just not realistic. Expecting them to hire outside help (or accept volunteers) is also not up to you or anyone else. By them working on the artwork themselves, it is their game with their art and they can tweak things to their standards. It also avoids legal issues, if an employee/volunteer gets upset and leaves (I have seen it happen) and gets in a tizzy about copyrights.
I do agree with communications, which we have in the Announcements or Comments and Suggestions topics, Looks like wearables are on deck...updates take time, and effort and the game developers have done a great job keeping things realistic (as much as pixel ponies can be anyways). We waited a bit of time for the Tobiano/Facial/Leg Markings to come out (mostly as the artwork didn't come out as Larrisar wanted it), personally it was worth the wait. There is a list of things that need to be worked on (Geldings, Approve Mare, Training Tickets, etc.), I don't disagree with that...just it will take time.
As far as Discord's Voice/Text Chatroom, its basically a social networking type platform...
There are too many youngsters on this game that have no understanding of Internet safety, and I (I suspect the Admins/Developers, as well) could see it being used inappropriately. We've already dealt with a bunch of creeps being inappropriate and youngsters treating the chatroom as a dating site, the chatroom as we have it Tom can ban people that need to be banned. I'm not familiar with Discord enough to say if it is possible for the Admins to ban people as needed or not. I like having the chatroom separated, doesn't bog my browsers down, when I have all four running with the game that way.
I think you are taking this too personally, I never suggested they should drop everything and work on the game 24/7 and I am not demanding or putting myself in charge of anything. I am suggesting things, not demanding so stop writing in such a defensive manner like I am trying to sue someone or give them the boot. We all want to see this game reach it's full release, I'm not trying to prevent that.
Employment of additional developers will of course require a contract so such conflicts do not happen and all parts know what they are getting into. I'm not saying they should increase their team capacity but I am recommending it to get a bigger audience since updates is what keeps people coming back, it's been proven over and over again by online multiplayer games.
And for the forum. The more recent stuff I've seen has been more userfriendly and easier for younger members to learn. A good site structure is one of the cores in any website so I don't think this is a subject to just brush aside because it works as it is now. Just a simple thing as a modern and inviting layout can do a lot.
I'm not saying they should use discord (although it's a great alternative) I was refering to their modern, easy to understand structure etc and yes you are able to ban ppl on discord. I've been a community admin for about 2 years and you can even install bots to ban ppl using certain keywords and logging activity for review. But then again, I was only refering to their structure. There will always be online creeps, switching a few things around wont give them free playroom.

Re: Better communication and update frequency
Personally, I don't think the forum structure or communication is really an issue, I've been playing this game for a long time and it works well as it is. No need for a newer version when things are working properly
Admins work very hard to update stuff but they make sure everything is working 100% which I think is very wise and certainly the best option. When you even make all the pinto patterns yourself it's understandable that this will take a while. I think this is one of the most realistic and well thought horse game I've ever been on

This has been discussed earlier in the thread. And I agree, it is probably the most realistic breeding sim out there with the anatomy features and allmora098 wrote:Personally, I don't think the forum structure or communication is really an issue, I've been playing this game for a long time and it works well as it is. I breed a ton of horses. The most common ones are Thoroughbreds, Arabians, Belgians, and Turkmen. I like to make cursed horses, so I might sell a few from time to time.

If you gonna hijack my suggestion thread with irrelevant off topic stuff, please leave. I would like to stick to topic. You're very welcome to start your own discussion thread in a section suited for such in the forums.

Re: Better communication and update frequency
I am asking a simple question. If you have not made a game, then why are you demanding for the admins of this game to start cranking out updates? It takes a lot of effort to make this game and many people already appreciate it. I have been playing this for 1 year and I see nothing that needs to be "upgraded". I like the 2d style and if you want a game that cranks out updates, go play Horse eden or Howrse. This game only has two modders and dont start with that they could go do a go-fund-me-page. This is like a side project to them and many people in this community love it as it is. The slow updates are pretty fast for a two person team.GrimCamel wrote:Little_Cookie771 wrote:

I was asking a simple question that is not immature, what is immature is harassing (in lose terms) the admins to upgrade the already perfect game.

Re: Better communication and update frequency
Please re-read what I stated in previous relpys since you seem unsure about my intent. I know things can be precieved differently through text but dude, this is literally the suggestion section of the forum, If you think I am harrassing or demanding anything you shouldn't be in this section at all. You are not contributing to my thread here, you are jumping on conclusions and do not maintain a professional discussion regarding this topic. If my opinions or suggestions triggers you, you are very welcome to leave. If anyone has a harrassing behaviour here it's you. The way you are talking to me and assuming things is making me very uncomfortable and driving me to stray of my topic in my thread to idk have like some form of argue about how I shoulnd have left my opinion in the suggestion forum because it doesn't suit your view of the game.Little_Cookie771 wrote:I am asking a simple question. Please, if you can't stay on topic or contribute to the discussion (not listing endless amount of reasons why suggestions are impssible, thats for the admin/devs to say) then please, agree to disagree and leave this thread (and me) alone. This kind of behaviour only silence a community. No one would want to write suggestions if they are being met with this kind of attitude in the suggestion section. I feel extremely uncomfortable and painted as the enemy and that is my honest opinion here.

Maybe I should be like most of the community and be quiet, not because of people having attitude, it is because of people who jump on their cases and try to act like the innocent one. You started this forum and I am contributing it by asking if you have ever designed a game. I was interested to know if you have, because I would have patted you on the back. But you kept saying that my questions were immature, so I typed up how I felt ( toned down ), but once again you kept saying my opinion is invalid and that I would leave for asking questions and sharing my feelings towards your actions. This is why people don't speak up, it is because of people like you who are just crushing their opinions. I would ramble on and on, but I dont want to cause drama, so I will just leave. I have gotten what I wanted and you have gotten what you wanted. Now lets drop this subject before Tom bans us both.

Honestly, I was just as rude as you were to the admins.
