I don't think you should rehome the foal. At least give it back if you're going to rehome it.vallers wrote:If the stud was up for public stud then they didn't break any game rules~ss~ wrote:

Gods this is so childish. I can't wait for private breeding just so these tantrums about people breeding to a *public* stud can end
If you don't want other players to breed to your horses, do not put them up for public stud.
If you have a horse up for public stud and some breeds to it, don't have a fit.

Re: Breeding a DONT BREED stallion
I agree that just listing the stallion for your own use and then taking it down again would be the best action. I myself had listed a stallion with don't breed please and then forgot to take it down. However, I decided to leave it alone and leave him up, in the spirit of helping other players with their breeding projects.

Ok now that I have the time to respond. I bred the stallion to show how rude I found the demand that they give foals they paid ten grand for and they weren't even asked just told what they should do. I would not have even responded if the ping hadn't called them out. I feel that you should refund the money they paid if they give back the foals. Basically I was only as rude as I felt the demands were. Again if you don't want to risk horses being bred don't put them up.

Re: Breeding a DONT BREED stallion
I agree with vallers on this, putting up a horse for public stud will make him available for the puplic and therefore people will breed to him. You can't expect them to follow a selfmade rule. There's a much easier way to prevent drama from happening - just put him up for a second and then take him down again after using - which is easy when you use two browsers. No one ever sneaked a breed from me so it does work.
Also I don't understand why you're being so rude about it, there's nicer ways to say things.. Vallers is a good person, always helping and clearing things up and this treatment isn't deserved at all!

Re: Breeding a DONT BREED stallion
I based my statement on what the fee was when I used the stud. I rehomed the foal, you can check the offspring of your stud, the entire point of this was to get you to understand that the way you worded your posts were aggressive and to me rude. I said something about it because you arent the first to do this in the forums. Some of the players in this game are young and they get upset easily about being signaled out and think they broke a game rule. So, in summary, think about how you would feel if you were signaled out like that by another player before posting something. I was only as "rude" as I felt other people were being. I even went on to politely explain why I did what I did, and you again were rude. I even rehomed the foal instead of selling, breeding it, or giving it away to preserve your horse's line as a courtesy.~ss~ wrote:vallers wrote:Ok now that I have the time to respond. Re: Breeding a DONT BREED stallion
Can I just say something: I believe one side, which I choose not to disclose when I am making this post, but am going to say that I believe that everybody should be nice and mind their own business, I know I am not part of this, but it just bothers me people are going to fight about something sooo stupid. If a player wants to ping them, then they can. We should all just stay out of it. We have enough to deal with without fighting in this game too. And we also need to preserve the trust between players, like if I put up a horse for sale and said " Reserved for such and such" I would hope none of you would buy it. I hope we all can agree to disagree.~ss~ wrote:vallers wrote:Ok now that I have the time to respond. Re: Breeding a DONT BREED stallion
Before jumping to any conclusions about anything, please keep in mind it can also be an honest mistake. People tend to not read whatever it says up in the ad title (95% ad titles don't contain any useful information at all, so I also tend to ignore them), one can wander upon your horse by other means, not only stud ads (browsing pedigrees, progeny, show results etc) and not bother to read either owner's comments or even horse's name, especially when there is something coded in there that apparently only makes sense to the person who wrote it. So basically ridiculously high stud fee is the only information you can count on being read by whoever wants to breed to your stud, and even that might not work on all occasions.~ss~ wrote: but im done with this now.
