Until registries are in place the Breeding Communities forum will be for players to work together towards creating or improving their favourite breeds.
Forum rules
Each breed may have only one topic. The first post in the topic is to be informative. It should help explain the breed, and breeding goals; advice on how to select mares and stallions; and links to ideal Stallions available for breeding.
Keeping a directory of breeders working on the same goal is also helpful.
All new threads must be approved.

Are you asking how to create the Gypsy Vanner breed? Or are you asking how to increase the stats or competition abilities of the Gypsy Vanners?

Creating a new breed can be done through obtaining the recipe breeds that the new breed requires. If you look at the breeds wiki, which is found under the help menu on the left side of the page, you will need to scroll down to the Gypsy Vanner and go to the wiki page for the breed.

You will find that to create this breed you will need a Clydesdale, Dales cross horse and you will need to breed it to a Friesian, Shire cross horse.
But it's not quite that easy. To increase your chances of gaining the new breed, obtaining these cross parents that closely match the requirements of the Gypsy Vanner will help greatly. But even then it won't be guaranteed.
Also, a Dales, Shire cross horse will not work, the recipe must be followed, however, either parent can be either cross.

Now for the other question.
Increasing stats or competition abilities of the breed comes down to your preference of what you want your bloodline to do. Do you want it to be good log pullers? or good racers? Once you figure out where you want your breed to go, then you can determine what's most important to focus on. If you want your horse to just look good, then competition abilities aren't that important and increasing the stats and obtaining how you want the horse to look will take precedence. Great stats bred to good stats should increase the stats of the foal. Good stats bred to good stats may increase the stats of the foal. But, even bad stats bred to bad stats may produce a foal with a decently strong outcome. In this case, these two parents have some strong hidden genes or their genes came together just right.
For competition abilities, it's about the same. A strong competitor is more likely to produce more strong competitors then a weak competitor, however, just because a particular horse is a weak competitor doesn't necessarily mean they will always throw more weak competitors. It could come down to some of the conformation evaluation stats just didn't add up right to make the horse able to compete in the category you want.

Hope this helps!

I certainly do need help! I really want to breed a feathered footed champion gypsy Vanners. So basically a nice looking mare that I could breed would be very useful but I would need one with 65 000 gp or above. Do you reckon you could help? Barring in mind this is a new account and so I’m starting from scratch again so I can’t offer much on a horse.
