Looking For Welsh Mountain Ponies

Post by Knitting »

Looking to stud to or buy Welsh Mountain Ponies
Ideally (but won't rule out ponies that can't fulfil all criteria)
Under 14.2hh
Over 35k HGP
Not Dun
With some tobiano patterning (just a sock is fine!)

I don't have any yet, but I'm in the process of making Welsh Mountains as a part of my own project. I'm at the last cross, so if everything goes to plan, I should have some very soon that I'm willing to stud out. If nothing better comes up before then, I'll be happy to return to this post when I get mine :)

Tobiano is in the pedigree and GP will likely be around 34 - 37
The possible sire is dun, but only heterozygous, so there's definitely a chance of a non-dun
Realistic Breed Project
Pssst, take a look below!

Hey, so the Welsh Mountain breeding to a looot longer than expected

I just got my first colt, so if you're still interested I'll put him up for stud once he turns 3

His GP is a bit lower than expected, but he has no reds and his conformation is decent enough
At this moment, his colour is a beautiful grey text, non-rendering image, so I don't know if he's dun or tobiano yet ;)

Edit: he's plain bay
