First, please keep in mind that questions should be asked in the questions forum. This is the guides forum.

Now to answer your question: Just because a recipe calls for these breeds to make the new breed, it doesn't mean that you'll automatically succeed. The biggest help to succeeding is to use horses that already evaluate very well for the new breed. Even with 5 star parents however, it only gives you the chance for breeding the new breed.
