Hello! Some of you may know me as Rosecreekstables, and some as Dream_Rider927. Dream_Rider927 has disappeared forever (I deactivated it due to inactivity) and Rosecreekstables is still up and running! (And has a training business!) I have decided to create an account to help with the problem of un-wanted horses. I saw in the fourms people talking about the issue and decided to try to help. Please read below to find put more about this program, my goals, and how I am going about it!
Ps...... My original account I had for this I am no longer in control of. I forgot my password (I used one I do not normally use) and my brother permamently locked me out of the email account because of too many failed password attempts! Yay! Life! The below links will take you to the old forum and the The conversation I had with Tom!
Tom conversation: http://www.horseworldonline.net/forum/v ... 18&t=14563
Old forum: http://www.horseworldonline.net/forum/v ... 083#p85083
PLEASE READ EVERYTHING BELOW. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION
What are my Current Accommodations for the Horses?/size]
I currently only have 1 pasture, as I started a new account. For every 12 horses I own, I will buy a new pasture. Once I have the money (and a few pastures of course) I will buy a barn.
What Does it Mean to Surrender a Horse?
Surrendring a horse means that you give the horse to the rescue center in order to get a small reward. If you have unwanted horses, horses that are too old, horses that you do not have room for, or horses that do not fit your breeding criteria, let me know by posting a reply with the horse link and conformation that you surrender all rights of that horse to me. Once the horse in my care, it will not be able to go back to you (even after it has been rehabilitated.) Horses may be of any breed.
Surrender Application
Please fill it out as you see it below. It makes it easier for everyone! I WILL NOT ACCEPT APPLICATIONS THAT ARE NOT FILLED OUT IN THIS MANNER
Horse link
Player Name (including side accounts please!)
This statement: I confirm that I give up rights to this horse and surrender it Rescue Peak.
What Will I do With the Horses?
If the horse is younger that 15 years of age, I will determine if they eligable for my training program. If they are eligible for my training program, then they will go through discipline detection and then be sold. If the horse is over 15 years of age I will try to breed a worthy foal from them if they meet the Rescue Peak Breeding Standards. After all horses turn 20 however (including the ones that do not meet breeding standards), they will be free to spend the rest of their days in peace.
Rescue Peak Breeding Standards
If a horse is under 20 years of age, and do not qualify for the training program, they will be evaluated to see if they qualify for under the RPBS If a horse qualifes they will matched with another horse or two that will most likely produce a good quality foal. In order to qualify the horse
1) cannot have more than 1 stat that is under 20 in conformation
2)have more than 1 red stat in the breeders report
3) and must not currently be in training
Once the foal is born I will then decide if the foal is worth training or he needs to be be sold.
Rescue Peak Training Program
Horses that qualify for the training program will be sent to my other account, Rosecreekstables, to be trained. After they have completed training they will come back here to complete discipline Detection. In order to qualify for training they must
1) not have more than 1 red stat in the breeders report
2) Not be over the age of 15
3) must not have more than 2 stats that are below 20 in conformation
Horses that are in training will also be up for sale throughout their training!
What happend to horses that do not meet standars for anything or are over the age of 20?
These horses will be able to live put the rest of their days in peace! The young horses may be put up for sale or they may be used for other things. Only time will tell!
Donations!
If you would like to donate to Rescue Peak please let me know! I will gladly accept them! DONATIONS WILL ONLY BE USED TO FEED HORSES, BUT PASTURES AND BARNS, AND TO COMPLETE OWNERSHIP COURSES ON THIS (RESCUEPEAK) ACCOUNT. THEY WILL ALSO GO TOWARDS RESCUING HORSES THAT ARE FOR SALE AND TOWARDS EVENTS AND SUCH I HOST ON THIS ACCOUNT
When and How Will Horses be Sold?
Horses will be sold either because they are young and do not qualify for the training program or because they have completed the training program or because they do not qualify for the breeding program. Horses will be sold as offers only and they will be up until I have a reasonable offer. Horses in training will be up all thorughout their training as well!
Reasonable offers include
1) 5,000 or above for a fully trained horse
2)100 for any other horses
3) 1,000-4,000 for horses on training
This is to make sure that I have enough money to keep my place up and running!
Why Can't I Buy My Horses Back?
You can't buy back your own horse becuase then it seems like you wanted to get them trained or had second thoughts about surrendering them. To me this shows dishonesty. I do keep track of this
If you have any questions, comments, anything, let me know! I will be glad to hear it! I wil add more things as I think of it!

Let me know when you've got your player skills up high enough to take more horses (also, I'd like to pay for whatever the lesson after that one is, so you're welcome to increase the bid on him to however much it costs).RoseCreekRescuePeak wrote:You're good! I got this horse because she is very pretty, but I didn't realize she has a red stat. I feel like I am giving you a lot of horses, so if this is annoying, please tell me.
