Update!!

New Project!

To kind of even out the racers I have on my farm, I decided to try a draft breed. I bred a few Belgians when I first joined HW and I loved them, but this time I will be trying a different breed that comes from Belgians: the Shire! I'm super excited about this project I will be using Belgians from the Adoption Center and breeding their HGP and strength up. Then I will cross them with Friesians off the market. The other breed required for Shires is the Forest Horse. I will also start with AC Forest Horses and breed them to get their HGP and strength up. Then I'll breed my Shires
Of course, I'll be continuing my Thoroughbred project

Here are the Belgians and Forest Horses I grabbed from the AC. I grabbed three mares and one stallion of each breed:



















Goals for my Shires:
1. Bred specifically for log pulling
2. 60+ strength, 40+ stamina, at least 25-30 movement and tempo
3. Gold stats in strength, stamina, and tempo
4. Green movement
5. Heavy feathering and unique colors
6. NO varnish, greying , bronzing, spots, etc
7. 4* or 5* rating in the Shire book (the Shire book lists 16-17.3 hands but that is short for Shires in rl So, my Shires will be more like rl Shires in that they will probably be too tall for the Shire book on HW)
8. Breed the strength comment: "Wow, what power! This is one strong stallion/mare, hope he/she doesn't try to run off on you cause you won't be able to stop him/her!"

Thoroughbreds

My Thoroughbreds are coming along pretty slow, but these are some of my best:



5* Thoroughbred, 55 gold speed, pretty nice HGP of 61,095, and decent racer conformation He's got two stockings too!


4* Thoroughbred. 53 gold speed, HGP of 59,800, 2 stockings, and zebra markings!


5* Thoroughbred filly with gold 52 speed and a HGP of 61,135.


5* Thoroughbred. Green speed and stamina but her speed conformation is 58. Pretty red dun with two stockings too


Strange bay dun colored 59 gold speed mare 4* Thoroughbred. Medium light build tho


Shires

I haven't started crossing my Belgians with Friesians yet because I've been focusing on getting the strength conformation of my Belgians and Forest Horses up. I'm now going to turn my focus to raising their HGP. Then I'll start breeding for a Shire I've actually downsized this project quite a bit because I keep running out of room on my farm
