It sounds like you just need advice, let me get you some!

Asking for money, can be considered rude by some people( not all people just some). Some people like to help out new people with smaller amounts of money. If new people are given a lot of money to start, they spend less time learning how to play the actual game. As far as rehoming adoption center horses, some of us older (long time players, not age wise old) like buying adoption center horses that have no stats, green stats, or gold stats.

Now, here are some starter tips.

Finish the tutorial.
Upgrade skills over time, not all at once
Once you get to about 20 horses, unless you are going to be a very active breeder, that should hold you while you upgrade other skills for the first couple weeks.
Look in the market for a 4 stat or higher arabian, even untrained these horses will win 1st and 2nd place in the levels 1-4 local shows.
If you aren't going to train your own horses don't upgrade these skills until you have the number of horses up to say 50-80 horses. Also, if you are only going to be a casual breeder, you will be fine with only needing say 12-20 pregnant mares at once.
IF you are not going to try making money off studding out horses, then don't worry about skilling up number of studs available.
Also, do not use expensive public studs unless you have money to throw away. The resulting offspring may not be as good or better than the stud.
One last tip, for the first 3-4 months unless you are very good at figuring out strategy games, do not get upset if you don't know everything. This is not an easy 1-2-3 point and click game. Also, if you are going to breed to sell only, you need to read the for sale or market section of the forums to find out what is popular. Not all breeds sell all the time, if you only want to stick with one breed then learn how to gauge the market. Example, arabians are popular because there are a lot of them and they are already bred at higher stats. North african barbs are popular for the tobiano paint markings.
