Welcome! :D

So, creating new breeds by yourself can be tricky, but doesn't have anything to do with your level. Under "help" you can find a breeds wiki, choose any breed and see which horses are required to create that breed. Essentially, all breeds are created with horses from the adoption centre (Those being Arabians, Caspians, Tarpans, Turkmenes, Forest Horses, Przewalskis, Shetlands and North African Barbs)

For example, if I wanted to make a Sorraia, I'd see that the requirement is:
[Tarpan x Mongolian] x [Tarpan x West African Barb]

Since neither Mongolians or West African Barbs are adoption centre horses, I would also have to make them
Mongolian = [Przewalski x Tarpan] x Tarpan
West African Barb = [Arabian x North African Barb] x [Forest Horse x North African Barb]

However, it's not enough just combining the required breeds. Under "market" you can find the book store, which sells evaluation books. You can then buy the breed books you're looking for, press the "eval" tab on your horse and see how well they fit the type or breed you're trying to create. The more expensive the evaluation book, the harder the breed is to create.

I would recommend either buying the breed you like or using the stud market to help create a new breed when starting out. HWO has so many little details that take a while to figure out. At least it did for me ;)
I hope what I've written makes sense - and if not, just ask again. There are some very good guides in the forum for new players that describe it better than me, too.
