100% stats?

Any useful tips for maxing out the other stats? I have 4 of his stats at 100%, still working on trying to get the others up. Any help is appreciated! Thanks

I've tried a couple different things, I though that maybe if you over extend beyond the exact 100%, they you wouldn't be able to accomplish the goal, but it doesn't make sense why I can't climb any higher than 99.8 in stamina. I'm recently wondering if it's linked to horse ability not just skills completed. But that doesn't make much sense either. If that were the case, then the HGP horses in the 17000 and lower range would (arguably) not be able to reach 99% full training, and I've been able to train them up to 99% and above. Of course, maybe it's in the process? One has to be trained up before the other...
What I've noticed, as I'm sure every trainer eventually notices, that training on one stat will open another stat for another training session or two. Back and forth. Nickel and dime until there is no more option.

Good luck on unlocking the question. I'm not done on my mare, but I don't think I'll get anything further.
