Becoming Champion, Grand Champion..etc. in certain disciplines

I was wondering how your horse becomes a Champion, or Grand Champion in certain disciplines (Such as Dressage, Show-Jumping, Hunter..etc) Do they have to win a certain amount of competitions?

To answer your question directly, your horses will earn titles by earning enough points but only in player-made competitions.
