LOL I was wondering if I would catch you around. I've been okay. Life has been super hectic. I've moved to a new city, got a full time job and am taking classes to add some letters to my name. So I've been out of the virtual horse business for a while but have been keeping my eye on HWO. I've only been playing two days and have little idea of what I'm doing but I like the setup and the possibilites. Once I learn some more and aren't as busy I'd like to upgrade. How have you been?

I saw your name in the list of currently logged in player by chance; I rarely check the main page once I get to playing. I'm glad you found your way here.
I've been quite well. I'm recovering from a poor semester due to personal and potentially medical complications, so I'm a little behind in my studies in terms of credits earned. My summer was absolutely lovely though; I got to reconnect with some old friends and cement a few new relationships; worked enough to cover my expenses and keep myself occupied; and I danced at least a couple of times a week. Being back on campus is iffy; my roommate, as much as I love her as a person, is terrible to live with, so I'm looking into new housing options. My entire state is also on fire, so the smoke is making the air quality terrible out here. Still, it should be a good semester.
Do you have an idea of what you might want to do? Teke maybe, like EV? I peeked at your farm and saw a cross foal in there.

Sorry to hear you got behind, schooling is a bear. I want a Ph.D eventually so I will probably be in it foreveeer. I'm glad you're doing better. I live with a vet student who I also love as a person, but is messy and likes to rescue feral cats we don't have room for in our two bedroom half of a duplex with her labrador and two personal cats and my Doberman. She doesn't have time for her animals so it's more like they are all mine. I'm looking for a house to buy so I can live on my own.
I kind of just grabbed some horses I liked the look at first since it seems like you can create what you want, but I would like to go for a Teke type first. I still don't know much but I like experiementing and feeling my way around. It looks like you have a huge project going and I'd love to get in on building Lipizzaners. I don't have a large amount of free time currently so I'm not too serious yet.

I'm also hoping for at least one PhD, and maybe a pair of Masters degrees; I really like repro, genetics, and nutrition, and I'd like to study each further. So I understand the whole "in school for forever" thing. I foudn a potential new home just yesterday. It's a house, rather than an apartment, with a fenced yard and everything. The owner lives there and she allows pets, so I'm hoping this works out. It's a bit of a price jump, but cheaper than many places around, with no deposits or anything tacked on.
My project is fairly enormous lol. I'm working on breeding for trait right now, but I'm going to get my custom mares tomorrow, so I'll switch over to breeding toward Lipis again shortly. I'm staying true to my hermit self and going it alone, but there are is at least one other Lipi person: her name is Feylin. Being able to create your own breed is in the works; right now you can breed for a type, but you can't make a registry quite yet. I'm excited for that feature.
