Re: Racehorse Futurity
Debates whether to breed racers again or not........Retsi wrote:What is a futurity?
A futurity is a race, usually for two-year-old horses, for which they have been nominated for initial entry eligibility while still a foal or even prior to birth. These yearlings are highly valued
Retsi's Racehorse Futurity
I will be hosting level 1 races for newly trained yearlings. This means these races are not for horses with a big show record in the specified racing type. Only horses ages 1 to right under 3 years old will be allowed to race! This will be a good way to communicate with other racehorse breeders and see what's new! I love to compete my yearlings against the same trained age group. Give me a run for my money, c'mon!
Tips
- try to enter almost fully trained horses
- if you cannot train your horse by under 3 years old, consult older or senior players in this forums section. many are willing to train for a small fee if you are a new player or do not have your skills high yet
*these are merely observant suggestions, enter anyone you like*
Rules
- please do not buy and sell on this topic
These races will be for both fillies and colts! No limit on entries per breeder.
Triple Wins
Any horse that wins 1st place in all three races will be awarded an additional $1,000,000. Winning fillies will be awarded 1,000,000 and a free breeding to a stallion from a selected few.
Double Trouble
Any yearling taking at least two 1st place wins will receive an additional $250,000
Off To The Races
Entry fees are $5,000 each. Every purse is $25,000. These races occur weekly. Every 3 months, the top placing horses will be invited back for a grand championship.
