【ℤA】Farm Log

Post by Ziel »

Decided to start keeping a farm log myself. ;)
If you want to see my latest post, just jump to the last page!
I'm going to be doing this journal style, 'cause MEMORIESSSS~

I'll start by saying that I've only been playing for a couple of months, and instead of chasing fame and fortune (although I'm starting to chase fortune so I don't continue down the 'broke as heck' path), I was IMMEDIATELY annoyed by the lack of choice of good starter "foundation" studs in the Przewalski / Tarpan breeds. They all had TERRIBLE stats! So, as per usual with my various hobby projects, I started a project to outcross these breeds and bring in better stats out of spite.

So, what has that produced? I'm glad you asked!
So far, these are the best Przewalski / Tarpan cross horses I've produced:

Z.A. Crispy Villem
Belgian x Tarpan [50%]
- REPORT -
GOLD: Tempo (+28), Balance (+34), Intelligence
GREEN: Stamina (+47), Agility (+33)
Positive: Strength (+33), Movement (+46)
Average: Speed (+18)
NO NEGATIVE STATS!
HGP: 62,795
Evals: unknown

Z.A. Uno Night
Half Belgian [50%]
- REPORT -
GREEN: Tempo (+20)
Positive: Stamina (+40), Agility (+38), Movement (+36), Balance (+33)
Average: Strength (+32), Speed (+12), Intelligence
NO NEGATIVE STATS!
HGP: 49,113
Evals: 4 Exmoor / Norman Cob / Ob

Z.A. Crispy Shot
Belgian x Przewalski Horse [50%]
- REPORT -
GREEN: Intelligence
Positive: Stamina (+31), Strength (+30), Movement (+30), Agility (+28), Balance (+25), Tempo (+22),
Speed (+16)
NO AVERAGE OR NEGATIVE STATS!
HGP: 47,949
Evals: 4 Ob

Z.A. Uno Dilemma
Mixed Przewalski Horse x Belgian [38%]
- REPORT -
GREEN: Tempo (+30)
Positive: Balance (+27), Stamina (+19), Intelligence
Average: Strength (+34), Agility (+34), Movement (+28), Speed (+26)
NO NEGATIVE STATS!
HGP: 44,536
Evals: 4 Tarpan

I have a lot more in my farm of course, but these are my current best! I'll start breeding them back into pure Przewalski / Tarpan lines real soon! :D

So, I've started breeding back towards przewalski / tarpan! I'm not crossing purebreds in yet, just breeding my own crosses to get a higher percentage toward the desired breed.

I've also made a bit of a website for myself as well!

You can check out my current projects / project pedigrees there :)

Also produced this weinerhorse:

- REPORT -
GOLD: Stamina (+51), Tempo (+33), Intelligence
Positive: Strength (+46), Balance (+39), Agility (+30)
Average: Movement (+41), Speed (+20)
NO NEGATIVE STATS!
HGP: 60,303

I love her

Hey, got two Tarpans (colt and filly) up for public sale if you're interested in speeding up the process of breeding back to purebred; $500 each :)

I'm getting SOOO close to purebred Przewalski / Tarpans! Got a lot of 4/5 eval horses to breed.
Also have lots of my old breeding stock up for sale here: http://www.horseworldonline.net/forum/v ... 15&t=12907

I’ve pretty much dumped the outcrossing project, and instead brought in a bunch of purebreds, focusing on breeding the highest HGP purebreds. I did keep and use some of my mixed breeds for this - but the majority were sold / rehomed / retired.

That being said, my current lines are up to 40-50k HGP, and staying out of the reds. \o/

I’m debating picking up another breed, for money purposes. I have multiple GCh++ / MCh++ Belgians / Belgian mixes I could potentially pull out and breed into a new line.... but I don’t much like the look of Belgians in-game lmao. I also managed to snag a cheap as heck AMAZING Arabian Colt, as well as a Cream Friesian Mare, and a Gypsy Vanner Mare.... although tbh they’re not my ideal mares for those breeds.

For now I’ll probably just focus on what I already have.

I'm currently working with Tarpans and Przewalskis and I have been trouble finding well-statted horses (especially movement) as well. I was just thinking this morning that maybe I should focus a bit on those two breed before I move on to the next cross. I just wanted say that though my horses are not quite on par with yours (I have not outcrossed), I am happy to offer studs/broods if I have any horses that could add more than just new blood.

I just thought I'd check in let you know that Turbulent Tea sired a great little colt (for me at any rate). He is my first homebred with over 40 GP (48,493) and he moves well and he has gold tempo with green balance and intelligence.

I've repeated that breeding and also used him on a couple of other mares. He did ya proud. :D

Update!
I've stopped focusing on trying to breed as many horses as possible, and have whittled down my stock to the highest HGP individuals of each breed. Tarpans are very close to being a purebred line, Przewalskis sit mostly at 95%. I've stopped giving a crap about COI in my Tarpan / Przewalski lines until further notice.

I've also picked up breeding Friesians, Gypsy Vanners, and Belgians / crosses! The Belgian lines are ABSOLUTELY for training up into show horses, while Friesians and Gypsies are for breeding toward horses that have good HGP while also adhering to IRL breed appearance. Friesians / Gypsies are my two FAVORITE IRL breeds, so it's REALLY disappointing to me that the majority of in-game stock looks NOTHING like the real thing! I intend to fix that.

I also may look into picking up a light-horse breed for a racing line. What I decide on is yet to be seen, but that's currently not of any concern until I've increased my capacity.
