Just for the record, I wasn't saying that tobiano is what we have. I was just saying that we don't have all of the paint patterns right now. It also would be kind of weird to have frame overo without lethal white, and since no one has had a lethal foal so far (that I know of), I'm guessing that that will come later.Fendy wrote: She doesn't have just marks on the head, that is 100% a Paint patern. I have been breeding like crazy and it started to get bigger slowly, very slowly. I was just very lucky getting the stallion after a lot of generations and he passed his white on to a few other foals as well
Would be very weird if only Tobiano is in the game since i have a lot of Frame look a like horses. Tobiano shows different then Frame Overo also in real life :3

Something i noticed is that some AC breeds do not get the heavy white, even when you cross them with a big white patern horse. You only get the stockings on the foals.. So that is something i try to look at now

We'll probably get an announcement about it when things are all settled down.Fendy wrote: I wonder what we actualy have then. Since i have a lot of horses who do look like the Frame Paterns.

And it's the same with the leopards - some breeds carry genes for more white, some less. Like, if you cross with an AC Turk you're way less likely to get a loud Lp pattern than if you cross with, say, a Caspian. I've noticed that Turks also seem to carry less white in the paint department. Other than them I only really have experience with the shetlands and NABs, which both seem to carry a decent amount.
And in keeping with the thread, here are some of my more recent favorites:

Re: Show off your paints!
Lethal white in my opinion is 'different' then white painted and pattern genes. Lethal white makes a horse white all over, or nearly so.
Unless I'm getting this wrong, lethal is directly connected to overo and even some solid-appearing horses have produced lethal foals. Not every overo horse is a lethal carrier however. So this would tell me that the genes would have to be two separate genes, with the singular exception that only overo descendants have the possibility to carry (and pass on) the lethal gene.
With all that said, old age still appears to be the only way to loose a horse and no other genetic malformations have yet to be introduced to the game.
So personally, I have my doubts that lethal has been introduced yet. If and when it does get introduced, since we've experienced the game realistically so far, I would assume this gene would also be handled the same way, as in: a lethal foal would be born from whatever overo carrying parents and appear all white or nearly all white and most likely with blue eyes.
I am really liking all these paints. Has anybody produced a painted foal from strictly socked or face marked AC parents? I'm curious if there are pseudo-markings out there.
