MY Official *unofficial* Game Guide!

Hey guys! Ok so I am previously known as HWF on the old version of the game! (For those of you who remember) I had put together a game guide that had just about everything in it to help players understand the game.

Well I have gone through and updated that old game guide to bring it current to the NEW version of the game! Yay!! (It's about time! Yes I know....) Anyways - there might still be a few tweaks I have to make as I might have missed a few things here and there but it will be updated regularly as the game progresses.

I would just like to know more about pasture breeding as I thought u had to click on a stallion or mare and then click breed this horse with a curtain horse

I am not sure 100% as I have not asked if this is in the *current* game but in the past it was so I imagine it is in this one as well. The way you describe IS how you breed two horses together but with pasture breeding - if you have a stallion in a herd of mares then as you advance the next day and you have open mares - then they *might* breed with the stallion in the pasture. It is hit or miss if they breed or not so the best way to breed is to do it yourself in the way you stated.

Pasture breeding is not a thing in this current version, however I can't say as to whether or not it will be in the future.

Q: I want to import a Thoroughbred, Quarter Horse, or Mongolian but they aren't on the options to import. Why?
A: On HWO, there are currently 312 breeds of horses that you can work with. 9 of these breeds are what are referred to as “foundation” breeds. These breeds are the ancient breeds, some of which are now extinct in real life. On the game, these breeds can be used to create the more modern breeds we see in real life. These 9 breeds are the ONLY breeds you can Import and include the following:
Arabian, Belgian, Caspian, Forest Horse, North African Barb, Przewalski Horse, Shetland Pony, Tarpan, nd Turkmene.

Incomplete. Those breeds will be adoptable once the system is set up properly.

Q: How do I find out how to create a new breed?
A: You find out how to make a new breed by buying a book from the market. Books have information in them about how each breed was created (most likely) in real life. They also give details such as how tall each breed should be etc. ALSO - ONLY MIXED breed horses can be used to create second generation new breeds! % horses basically are not good for breeding purposes unless it is to introduce new traits into whatever breed it is a % of. You can breed part-bred horses back to the breed it is part of to eventually get a pure bred horse again over time.

Incorrect and unclear. A horse that is 80% Arab can be used to create a Teke if the other 20% is Turk and the breeding partner is also some combination of Arab x Turk.

Q:How long are mares pregnant?
A: Mares are pregnant for about 25 game days. Foals will be born when you advance to the next game day more or less after you have used up approximately 25 game days. This is the equivalent of the normal gestation in mares in real life.

Incorrect. Mares are pregnant for 20-26 turns, usually about 22.

Q:I am trying to get a new breed. I just got two foals. One is a part-bred and the other is a mix. Which one can I use to make a new breed?
A: You can only use "Mixed" breed horses to make new breeds. Part-breds are only good to breed back to whatever breed it is part of to bring in new traits to an existing breed.

Upgraded accounts can have 24 banked days and a new day every 15 minutes. Basic accounts can perform work from 6am - 10pm before you need to go to the next day. Upgraded accounts can work from 5am - 11pm.

Incorrect. Basic account are 6 day and 20min. Upgraded accounts are 12 days and 10min. Accounts with Faster Day Regeneration are 10min (Basic) or 5min (Upgrade). Accounts with Increase Max Saved Days are 12 (B) or 24 (U).

* In order to breed a new breed, you will need to actually own the book for the breed you are breeding for. This is a requirement programmed into the game.

Incorrect, afaik. Having the books makes it easier, but they aren't required.

The day length is also incorrect. Both Basics and Upgraded can work from 6AM to 10PM. The Days Length bonus allows you to work from 5AM to 11PM.
