but how do you make horses look metallic? (or what factors make them metallic)

Some can be born with it (kind of) but what you’re seeing is probably from training. Training your horses makes them look metallic.

I was looking through your horses and I think you just need a better understanding of colors in general. This one mare you have marked as chestnut looks more like a red dun, rather than chestnut : http://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/1304532

Yeah i thought she was dun but there isn't any leg barring or stripes so i just said chestnut.

Oh my goodness I’m sorry. I got
Confused and somehow thought the horse looked different . This horse is chestnut. I think they could pass as flaxen chestnut, but if the horse is from the adoption center, it is a chestnut most likely to begin with.

Leg barring or stripes does not necissarily make a dun, especially red dun. But I saw that it was from the adoption center, so it probably just is a chestnut. Colors and genetics in this game are really complicated and confusing. I tend to sometimes get my colors mixed up.
