Stuck in the tutorial?

I have my two horses and have bred them, they had a cute little colt and he's 6.5 months now and the "Breed your mare" quest is still up. Is it bugged/stuck? Has anyone else experienced this?

did you breed the mare after you got the quest or before? and have you clicked on the quest banner?

I bred it alongside with the quest, it was even giving me turns to pass the pregnancy, etc. I ended up fixing it when I bred my first two together a second time. But I imagine this is a bug who will confuse many new players, because it definitely had me stuck and confused.

This has happened to me with the begin studying quest. I did the quest and was given a reward but it never left the screen and still hasn't left. Did you find a way to get rid of it?
