A Few horses I've been having troubles with

Post by phloxy »

Hello, I'm still learning the game's genetic system. Most games I've played have been much simpler, and horse genetics can be pretty complicated haha.
I think I've been doing fairly decently with the links provided and doing my own research, but there are a couple of horses I can't figure out.

First is this guy: http://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/7500
At first I thought he was Isabella Palomino, but after searching around it doesn't look like they're on this game. Also, his eyes are lighter in colour so that made me think he must be something else. So I searched around and ended up finding a few other horses similar colour to him and they were listed as Cremello, but I'd like to have someone else's opinion on that one since he's quite yellow.

Then there's this stallion: http://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/8984
He looks like he has sooty in him, but I've seen horses similar to him be listed as Perlino, Cremello, Smoky, Pearl, etc. I forget the initial colour I labelled him as but all those differences gave me second thoughts. xD

Cane Sugar is definitely a cremello. All of his foals are cream, he's not got any points for a bay-based perlino, and the quality of color is all wrong for a black-based smokey cream.

The second horse is is certainly double cream and sooty, but the base color eludes me.
Signature? I don't need no stinkin' signature! Everybody knows who I am already!

Awesome, thanks for the second opinion!
After looking at the visual horse colour guide I think my second stallion listed is possibly something along the lines of Sooty Brown Cream Pearl. Who knows if this will change after looking more stuff up though, lol!

I believe he has a Silver gene. He looks like he does and as two of his foals exhibit it and it's very unlikely that both of their dams carry it (though it is possible, Silver is invisible on chestnut), I'm quite sure. A visible Silver gene would make his coat Black based. My guess would be Silver Sooty Brown Cream Pearl.

Ah okay, that's what I had him down as at first but I took out the silver for some reason. Thanks! :D
