Hi Aliw1995! I’m pretty sure The silver gene (Z) is also the flaxen gene.

That is inaccurate. Silver and flaxen are not the same. The genetic markers for flaxen have not yet been identified. Silver has no affect on red.

Here is my favorite mare, a feathered Belgian with a color that I haven't seen yet on any other drafts:
*SS* Sugar-Glazed Gold

I think I may need help with her color, as well as her son's:
*SS* The Explorer

And then, I have these guys:
Improved Jewels

That Sooty Silver Perlino Dun is Spectacular. I will certainly consider him as a prime breeding prospect if I ever start up my Andalusian line again
