Rehome horses with living children?

Post by Arabela »

I have horses i'd like to rehome to make way for my next program - but I get this message "Cannot delete a horse with living children". I have noticed alot of stock in sales, studs on offer etc with either or both parents gone from the game yet their children remain active.

How can I do this, its silly having padocks taken up by stock that needs to make way for the next project. Selling saturated stock will be difficult as we all move onto the next ladder to our goals. Help would be appreciate as padock space in limited.

It could be that both parents have moved on due to old age. Compete in local competitions to make money that way you can afford a paddock for "retired" horses.

Thanks for the reply. What is considered old age? 20 years?

Horse die between 19-30 years old. Most between 20-24.

If you have any old horses where you own all the offspring and they are decent but not exactly perfect you can rehome the foals in order to rehome the parent. Basically kill them off one by one :P
