What would you classify him as?

Silver bay
He's out of a long line of silvers that I bred on his Dam's side. I introduced silver to the line

She is silver bay. The best indicator is her coat at 1-year-old:

This picture shows her adult coat without the effect of progressive dilutions such as sooty or varnish, so it's the best time to determine coat color. Here you can see that her lower legs are clearly darker and more chocolate-y brown than her much more reddish body which is a clear indicator of a bay base rather than a chestnut one.

If she were palomino her mane and tail would be much more white and less silver. Her coat also wouldn't be quite so dark at such a young age. While it's possible to have a flaxen chestnut with this color mane and tail, chestnut was already ruled out by the difference in color on her lower legs.
