Can you send messages to other players in the game?

I have a question. I'm probably being really stupid by not knowing and what not, but can you send messages to other players in the game?????
It would be AWESOME if someone could let me know!! Thanks!!

You can personal message people if you are a premium account that costs 500 pt a month. Otherwise you can just ping people and let them know whatever you need to. So, yes and no.
