I can let her go for $250k. She score tests at 2:16.25 untrained, which I imagine would translate to around 2:03-2:04 trained. She wouldn't be the queen, but she would be competitive at level 10 competitions, even against stallions.

You use local competitions to score your horses? Do you total the average or medium of a few entries or just one entry? On what level? I have a stallion that averages 2:03, for example. Once it was way off though, like 2:16. Just wondering about your scoring program

I use local shows to score test my mares and I use them on trained colts to decide who I want to keep for breeding and competition. I record the highest score I see after about 30+ or so local show entries. If they cannot obtain a certain score (this minimum rises as my stock improves) I either sell or rehome them. Generally these horses I cull are still quite good, just not the creme de la creme.

They're all in that stable. Daedalus is the current record holder for racing and I'm happy to let a few breedings go for 100k a pop. His sire, Medus, would be 75k. They're my two best as far as racing is concerned.
