Creating a new breed help?
So, I'm on my quest to breed chincoteague ponies, which are [ Shetland Pony x Welsh Pony ] x [ Arabian x Spanish Barb ]
So, my question is when breeding those crosses together, does it matter if the breeds are reversed in the horses?
So [welsh x shetland] x [spanish barb x arabian]? Does that little thing matter? Because I just tried for my first chincoteague pony and I got a grade horse. I know there's only a chance it will be a chincoteague, I just want to make sure I'm not doing anything incorrectly.
Also, what is the chance when breeding for a new breed? Does anyone know?
I hope this all made sense lol

Re: Creating a new breed help?
The order of the breeds does not matter. Basically you will get a chincoteague if the foal has five stars of the breed. So some pairs will have more chance of producing a chincoteague than others. If you dont already have the booklet, i suggest you get it, it will be very helpful.Zebracat1234 wrote:So, I'm on my quest to breed chincoteague ponies, which are [ Shetland Pony x Welsh Pony ] x [ Arabian x Spanish Barb ]
