Brown Cream?

Post by TopazTiria »

The mare has some snowflakes upon her flank, but the color I'm not too sure of. Is she a brown cream or more of a smoky brown?

Considering none of these horses have pictures at 1 year (or close to one year), and varnish always makes it more difficult to actually tell the color of horses...

Smoky brown would be my guess. There is a cream gene in the line. There is also potential for tiger eye in the line. Snowflakes and Lp varnish.

Based on her baby picture she is simply brown. If she were smoky brown she would have been yellow as a newborn.
