Searching For Zebra Ears
I'm trying to finish my Dun study.
I have a couple more pictures to find, but I'm trying to locate one in particular that seems to be quite rare.
The Dun gene can produce striped ears, but I'm having a hard time finding a horse with one. I've had them in my herd in the past, but I need a close-up of them and I haven't produced one since I began my dun study.
If anybody has striped ears and can take a good close up of the horse, I'd be grateful.
I'm even willing to purchase the horse to ensure that he/she will be aged out and won't be deleted and I'm willing to pay up to 15k for that horse (I can not guarantee that I won't breed to them if I pay max price, but I'm willing to not breed if the price is minimized).
The catch is, the horse must display very clearly striped ears.
Thank You!

Do you mean like this horse's ears or do you mean zippered?BlackOak2 wrote:I'm trying to finish my Dun study.

Re: Searching For Zebra Ears
Zippered. With actual, visible stripes. I had a few of them when I started my tarpan breeding way back when, from tarpans and Prze horses and their offspring. I'm sure there's a couple out there... somewhere.Baranduin Brewster wrote:Do you mean like this horse's ears or do you mean zippered?BlackOak2 wrote:I'm trying to finish my Dun study.

Since I'm working with the dun gene, I expected to find them at some point again, but haven't yet had them pop back up, in any form... except for the color shift like yours.

I'll keep my eyes peeled. I have Koniks on the docket, once, I finish with my latest rounds of Soviets/Russians/WalkaloosasBlackOak2 wrote:Zippered. With actual, visible stripes. I'll be posting the study soon enough regardless of whether I have the pic or not, but I do want to eventually have one.
