[LF] Short Back, Downhill with long mane/tail
I am searching for specific conformation stallions as my herd has come across an uphill epidemic.
I am looking for certain requirements:
- 14.1hh to 16.3hh
- preferably no dilutions, but one or two is fine. willing to pay more for black or bay
- the more downhill the better!
- long mane and tail
- light, medium light, medium horse build
- medium to thick legs
Bonus: feathering, not important, but would be nice.
If you have a stallion that meets some a these, please don't hesitate to post him! Some checks are better than no checks!
Thank you for reading.

Re: [LF] Short Back, Downhill with long mane/tail
I completely understand: I also recently noticed my backs getting too long. Here's a list of a few guys I have that might work for you:
Lusitano Stud

Probably my best match for you - seal brown with dun and feathers and long hair
He's tall (taller than I'd like for my program at 17.1hh) and he's Medium Heavy
But his back is quite short and his croup and leg thickness are both moderate
Part Warlander Stud

14.3hh Medium-Light Bay with moderate-length hair
Moderate back, moderate leg thickness, but somewhat uphill
Andalusian Stud

16.0hh Medium Dunskin (CR/cr with dun) with long hair
Moderate back, moderate leg thickness, somewhat uphill
If any of these guys work for you, please let me know - I'm always willing to help out someone more interested in proper conformation than just GP numbers and Golds.
If you don't mind, I'd like to keep an eye on this thread as I now realize that I should probably work on my backs as well!

Thank you for posting those stallions. They are quite a bit too tall for my herd and are still a bit uphill.Mecca Stud wrote:*

He's looking like my best bet so far! Shame that his neck is so short xD His back and legs are perfect though. Could you please put him up for stud, please?

He's an excellent futurity colt, I don't think I've bred him yet. His confirmation may interest you
