No, not every player who runs competitions is exploiting the bug like you. Points have no intrinsic value and are not directly related to the game economy. But I doubt you actually care about the impact of your behaviour -- you're just trying to excuse it.

They use it, it's just that I first guessed to do it on such a scale, partly to show that something needs to be done about this. I have not done anything for a long time to get money, they are flowing themselves and this can not be stopped. Just fix the bug.
Points do not have intrinsic value just because they are extracted as artificially as money. If everything worked as it should - they would intrinsic. And given that it was your horses that for a long time were the reason why fighting for the top did not make sense - it seems to me that you are making excuses.
Competitions are the main way to earn money and one of the main reasons to breed horses in this game. And what if they do not work well? To fix this!
