Keeping a directory of breeders working on the same goal is also helpful.

I may breed to him, as I love the Silver DapplesQim wrote:Ah, anyway, thought it might be suitable to actually post something about my own Orlov project; been trying to implement the silver dapple/black/grey coat for a while and have ended up with something relatively proper.
Below mentioned stallion is also up for stud.

I'm definitely do plan on improving the breeds I used in the creation of the line (no sense, letting them go to waste), and would be extremely interested in getting a few breedings. I already have a Rhinelander in eventing, who is doing quite well, considering she is an oldie.Qim wrote:Awesome work!Baranduin Brewster wrote:Brand spanking new line of Orlov's

Getting the Mecklenburg and Rhinelander was such a pain in the neck
Indeed with the Mecklenburg and Rhinelander (rest of 'em, too); would prolly be a good idea to distribute those breeds across HWO, but the less popular ones tend to just stack up at one's own farm x)
Anyway, if you ever think of improving/increasing those breeds, I still have mine left as well, and would put them up for stud, etc.

Got one Rhinelander and Mecklenburg up for stud, although their stats are somewhat below average

Will have to do for now, tho -- ya might get something decent out of them, regardless.
