Breed Creation Question

I bred a stud (Przewalski x Tarpan) to a mare (Tarpan x Przewalski) expecting a (Tarpan x Przewalski) foal. I was surprised to get an Exmoor pony. http://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/12650 which I thought only came from breeding a Przewalski to a Tarpan.

Is this a fluke or can I replicate this with other crosses? Like, could I cross a (Sorraia x West African Barb) to a (Sorraia x West African Barb) and possibly get a Carthusian?

A [Tarpan x Prze] x [Prze x Tarp] is the same as Prze x Tarp or Tarp x Prze: 50% Tarpan and 50% Przewalski. So the game recognizes this cross as being able to produce an Exmoor
