Yep, could have a form of flaxen too, with such a light mane. Kind of a toss up on that, but she's certainly chestnut pangare.

Got this pretty Girl and want to try to breed a Warlander out of her: http://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/6413
Im I right with my guess that shes a bay dun?

Edit: That was easy. The first Warlander. *_* http://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/7144 Im clueless about his colors. As a foal he looked like a red dun but meanwhile I think he is a brown dun?

Congrats on the Warlander! Very cool breed. I notice you bought the mare from me. XD She's a wild bay dun and the colt does indeed look to be a brown dun to me. One thing I have noticed with brown is the foal coat tends to be heaps lighter. I have had brown buckskins born often that just look like dark buckskins.

Oh really? I did not even notice. Shes a pretty mare and omg I love the Warlander colt I got out of her. Hes so pretty! And thanks for the correction on her color~
I also think I breed a palomino dun? http://www.horseworldonline.net/horse/profile/7311
Its fascinating how the foals change their fur colors. I love to watch the aging process ^3^

Edit: Noooo wait, she looks a bit like a buckskin O_O buckskin dun? I hope I get a foal without the dun sooner or later xD

Second Edit: Ok, meanwhile Im really not sure anymore. She gets darker and darker. She was nearly white after she was born. Is she also a brown dun? Or a dark buckskin dun? Im clueless x.x

Brown dunskin :) her sire is perlino, bay with homozygous cream, so he can't sire non-cream foals. Her light nose, armpits, and flanks give her away as brown, and shes obviously dun.

I hope it doesnt get annoying if I ask about the colors for every horse. xD

Is there a difference between brown dun and brown dunskin? Because I think I have another brown dunskin here: http://www.horseworldonline.net/farm/pasture/207 ? I see that these two are much lighter than my brown dun colt but I would be happy if someone explains the differences to me =3

brown dunskin = brown +dun +cream
brown dun = brown +dun

Visually, BDS's are paler in general.
