Pearl?
I've been having the hardest time trying to figure out the pearl colors in my Hispano Arabians. I've yet to breed them enough to have a good eye for it, but the Baladi stallion that finally worked to throw me a HA stallion was pearl. So here we are, me trying to learn.
As is, here's my recent oddity. I'm not entirely sure what's going on here. Definitely dun--maybe brown dun?--but with pink lips and eyelids. Eyes are brownish or hazel.

This is my black pearl dun. She's a bit lighter with less-intense dun-ness, but still has the pink around the lips and eyes and the brown-ish color with the dark mane and tail:
If they were brown-based there would be more the light mealy-ish color along their muzzles and bellies.
