Your Breeds?

Post by flrancho »

Just out of curiosity, what breed and/or discipline is everyone working on? Are you working on the same breed with both of your accounts, or two different breeds?

Right now I'm working on trying to breed Welsh Cobs for English and Driving events. I was thinking of converting my other stable to work on a different breed, but I don't know how feasible it is to be doing two different breeds.

If you use one account to breed and the other to compete and offer studs you can keep your best horses alive by not taking turns on the compete account and you can keep your studs alive for breeding better and better.

You can work on two breeds on one account, just keep upgrading your horses owner skills

Personally I'm not working on any one breed - I'm working on breeding "dalmatian" horses. I noticed that there were already full-leopard chestnut-based horses, but the black ones only made it to about the shoulders. So I'm working on fixing that. XD Once I've gotten the pattern all over I'll work on making them better in general.

My best ones so far:

Leopard tarpans with heavy dun on agouti and low GP project on one account. On the other, breeding for design in four ways not competition or breed.

Thanks. I have a few stallions I could put up for stud if they interest you (in this pasture). I was going to link to one of Totina's stallions, but unfortunately he has aged out since I last used him. :(

Other account (Revenant - Coastal Plains) is currently mass storage, but I'm working on 5/5 purebred Hispano Arabian and Java horses at the moment. I have a pretty good idea of what disciplines I have in mind for HA (traditional ones for the breed), but I'll see which will be best once I have my herd stabilized. I'm going through each of my breed projects and perfecting them one or two at a time. Once I have that done, I'll split between accounts again. One breeding and one for showing/studs.
