Looking for a partner!

Post by BlanketMonster »

I am looking for a partner to breed Canadian horses with. It seems to me that I am the only active breeder of them, or at least only my stock is shown in the breeds wiki. Or I have the majority of the stock. Either way, I am looking for someone to help expand the breed with me! You do not have to be a golden player, though it would be nicer to have pms, forums are fine enough for communication.

I am trying to focus on conformation right now as colouring does not seem to be an issue currently and I have a few selected stock that is coming along greatly which I am very proud of.

Even if you don't want to breed Canadians themselves, I am always looking for fresh Breton, Andalusian (preferably without dilutions but I can only dream), and Norman Cob. Arabians I can always find a fresh source of.

Breed recipe is [Breton x Arabian] x [Norman Cob x Andalusian]

Personally, Norman Cob and Bretons are my highest demand for new blood. Andy's are growing in popularity so more people are breeding new stock.

I would really appreciate if someone else is interested in keeping a historic and one of the few truly Canadian breeds alive and kicking online (their numbers are greatly depleting as more people are choosing geldings over stallions).

I am also going to start trying to breed Newfoundland Ponies so I can complete my Canadian breed collection.
