The only way to transfer horses (and there are many reasons to do so) is to list them for sale. If you see a horse on the market that has a heading "Reserved" or "Do not buy" it means they are being transferred between players. I'm sure you weren't aware of this and Anastasia would like you to sell the horse back to her if you have not already done so.
