The Great Big To-Do List

Okay well its not very big right now. Mostly I just want to remember what I'm working on and what I plan to work on next so I'll just keep editing this post.

To Do
- add "current course" to player profile overview
- add details of all current abilities to the player profile overview
- add in more courses (at least those necessary to start owning horses)
- finish writing html/css for horse view pages
- add in pasture feeding and pasture turnout effects
- connect energy usage to training script
- adjust training variables as horses are being trained too fast
- add in trainer skills to training script
- add in condition decrease from lack of training/showing

Done
- course studying page
- added minimize category buttons to courses page
- fixed collapse buttons on courses page so they are persistent across page refreshes
- setup database for horses and give everyone a horse to test with (write script for generating horses)

Weekly Goal List
This is what I'm working on over the weekend and into the work week. I'll make a next post every friday.

- Finish pasture feeding programming so we can have an energy source, once this is done then energy will actually be used up each time you train your horse and returned each time you advance to the next day

- revise training variables as horses are getting trained much much to quickly

- reset all horses back to zero training after the first two points are finished

- create inventory page

- create market page

- allow players to purchase feeds from market and view on inventory page

- write code for assigning feeds to horses

- write code for naming horses, setting horses for sale, stud, etc.

- write notifications engine

I accomplished most of what I set out to do last week. This next week's goals include (in addition to the incomplete items above)

- completion of feeding script

- redesign of horse page

- modification and retesting of player skills and horse training

- bank pages / money usage

- beginning of economic strategy implementation

This week has been a lot slower progress than I had hoped for so my goals for the next week are a continuation of last week's with priority on the horse page update and economic strategy.
