Breed Creation Question

I'm trying to get a Baladi, both parents have 5 stars for creating this breed (North African Barb x Arabian).Why I got a 50% foal from them?What went wrong?

There is always a certain amount of chance involved. Just because the parents are perfect, doesn't guarantee that the foal will be what you want. But, it does give you a greater chance of the offspring becoming the breed you're trying for.
It occasionally gets frustrating that everything is correct, but you keep getting something you don't want. Sometimes, a horse or mare that has already offered what you want can give you what you're looking for, but that too, is no guarantee.
