Problems with mobile version of website
I know there are a few issues using the site on a mobile smartphone or tablet, but since I've only got limited access to these devices it's more difficult for me to troubleshoot.
Can you please let me know all the issues you have using a smartphone or tablet? Please make sure to include the brand of device you are using, the operating system and version, and the browser and browser version you are using.
I've made a couple corrections to the google ads as well as the page header today, but I need to hear from all of you to correct the rest of the issues.

Re: Problems with mobile version of website
Nokia Lumia Windows Phone, IE
Sidebar does not scroll, so I cannot access all of the options listed there, like Community or Settings. The page is also too wide for my phone, so when I toggle the sidebar on, the charms at the top of the page overlap the sidebar, and the main layout gets pushed halfway off the screen, with no side scroll function. There's also no horizontal scroll function on the My Farm page. And horses were not scaling properly, as I remember.

Okay, there is an option to change how the sidebar works, let me see what I can do about making it an account toggle-able setting.Argent wrote:Sidebar does not scroll, so I cannot access all of the options listed there, like Community or Settings.
I've see what you mean about the charms at the top, the 4th one gets pushed down underneath of them right? I can correct that fairly easily.Argent wrote: The page is also too wide for my phone, so when I toggle the sidebar on, the charms at the top of the page overlap the sidebar, and the main layout gets pushed halfway off the screen, with no side scroll function.
The layout getting pushed halfway off the screen to the right is by design. When you toggle the sidebar on/off it pushes the layout to the right so you can more easily see the sidebar links. But with no scrolling I can see how this would be an issue. Fixing point 1 above should help here.
Is this still an issue? I was able to use a Nokia Lumina Windows phone with IE through an online testing service and the horses were appearing properly to me. I might have been testing the wrong model #. There were 4 available options. I tried the oldest two and both worked. Do you know what model # you have?Argent wrote:And horses were not scaling properly, as I remember.

It's a Lumia 520, and the horses are still squashed. And it's the 3rd and 4th charms that get pushed down.

Is this is the same issue you posted about not able to train horses in barns? Or are you not able to train even in a pasture when on your mobile?SageFeather145 wrote:Samsung note 4

A thought just occurred to me. Are you trying to scroll the page down, or the sidebar itself? They scroll independently. If you've already tried that can you try expanding the Player submenu and see if the whole sidebar scrolling is activated at that point?Argent wrote:Sidebar does not scroll, so I cannot access all of the options listed there, like Community or Settings.

Re: Problems with mobile version of website
I think I've narrowed the issue down to IE version 10. I've applied a fix and the horses are less squished now although still not correct.Argent wrote:It's a Lumia 520, and the horses are still squashed. And it's the 3rd and 4th charms that get pushed down.
Can you test this on your phone and let me know if it's an improvement? Also, is there any way to confirm if you phone is using IE 10 or 11? 11 seems to work fine, it's just IE 10 as far as I can tell so far.

It started on my phone, but now I can't train them at all, on my phone or computer. Not just the ones in barns, training is down period.

Main content scrolls fine. Sidebar does not.
Horses a much less squashed/stretched, but still squashed/stretched.
seems to be IE 11
