Eye colour
Is it possible for horses to have red eyes???

The eye colour of horses can vary quite a lot. In this game there are a number of variations within each kind of eye colour. The most common colour (without dilutions or tiger eye) can be anything from red to light brown like these two of my own horses:
Red eyes:
Light brown eyes:
Horses with blue eyes can have very light blue or very light grey/brown eyes. Horses with tiger eye genes can have green, yellow or brown/grey eyes.
I don't know if there are any genes that code for what shade the horse's eyes get within each category but as far as I have seen it seems like it is the coat colour that decides which colour the horse's eyes get. Black horses tend to have more red in their eyes and double cream on a black base seem to have the most blue in their eyes.
