What do you focus on?

Thank you! Yea so for me it’s more on conformation, and then the report card being stellar is a bonus! lol I try to get them to match, but that doesn’t always work! For now I’m focusing on some knabstruppers with spots that are good at competing.

I worked with Arab and thoroughbreds so much in the past! And as you see the 2nd account is all Endurance! So I’m going to work on different competitions!

Welcome back, Ms. Trouble Maker, good to see you're still kicking.

These days, I've resurrected the Crummy Foal quest, but haven't done too much in that.

Projects are all about what my end-goal is. Sometimes color for color goals, sometimes competition (BR and stats) for competition lines. I'm looking forward to bringing out my leopard tarpan project when the new art release comes to us.

But for the most part, it's difficult currently to work with competition lines. Have to work within disciplines that are already popular. But it won't be long now.

Actually since I’m quite far along in my pregnancy, I’m no longer able to work, soooo I jumped back on, casually paining the house when I have the energy. lol
I can’t believe I was 21 when I joined. I no long ride horses anymore….. ohhh boy not after Ella. Think I was 25 when I stopped because I cracked both knee caps. So now I really do just enjoy the game!!

I see so much has changed! I saw all the new art work! I just subscribed to like EVERYTHING so I can see everything Larissa is working on. I can’t wait!

Wawa that the quest where you were trying to create the crappiest horse out there??? lol I sorta remember part of that.

Lately, I've been having fun improving rarer breeds by increasing their genetic potentials and aiming to get perfect breed evaluations.
My first ever successful project where I did this was with my Andalusians, and it certainly has been rewarding!
I don't really pay too much attention to COI since it seems like it's hard to lower.

I have a few different projects going- I have my steeple shets from pure AC stock on a different account, and movement Karabairs on here. On both I try to strike a balance between diverse genetics and consistently improving the bloodline.

I breed for a mixture of conformation, GP, breeders report and mostly the local shows scores on my Saddleseat Przewalski from AC! I’m getting to a spot where I think I’m just a few generations from getting some to a completable level! Here’s stud from a couple weeks ago, who’s mid but better every dayyy!!

I focus more on the stats and conformation. For me, it’s less color and more focusing on the conformation to back up the genetic potential and great report!
I’ve been here since 2014 and I have yet to ever break any world record.


Just looking to see what people focus on with their breeding programs! Is it stats (report), the genetic potential or conformation? Or maybe neither and it’s just colors!! I’d love to hear!

Indeed! The crappiest horse ever. Nobody's yet said they've gotten it, so it's still out there.

I'm sorry to hear you don't ride anymore, but there's always the future. Maybe thing's'll change but you know. To each their own and sometimes things come to an end and that's not bad.

We have a lot of newbies and quite a few of the senior members pop in from time to time. So the community is basically as you remember it.
